I am a former high school French teacher (14 years) who also spent time as an English Lit teacher. Now, I am the District ITS for Middle and High Schools in Forsyth County Schools, GA. I am also a Google Certified Educator: Level 2 who is passionate about learning new ways to accomplish my goals and making technology as much a part of school as it is in our daily lives. That includes knowing and teaching that everything has a time and place, that technology is not a panacea for all of your education woes, and that being a responsible digital citizen is vital to your future.

In my spare time, I am also a doctoral student at the University of South Carolina pursuing an EdD in Curriculum & Instruction, with a focus on Educational Technology. Outside of edtech, I love my family, travel, reading (Outlander, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones), and trying to still be a runner.
