Formative assessment can sometimes be tedious. Mini-Quizzes, Spot Checks and tests can give you a good picture, but how can you assess and engage at the same time? In 45 minutes you will learn how game-play can be used as a powerful formative tool in the elementary, middle, and high school classroom(s). You will: 1. Learn how to structure a 45-50 minute period with assessment-based game play. 2 Learn how to set up a class management system where students respect and even look-forward to assessment based play. 3. Learn how to quantify your assessment data to make smart, student centered instructional decisions. 4. Download a plethora of games and assessments that you can use in your classroom (Device Agnostic).
