With the advent of increasingly complex and innovative technology, the classroom environment has also had to change in order to prepare students for the post-secondary environment. New Tech, G Suite (former Google Apps for Education), 1:1 devices, and BYOD have added another dimension to instruction. A question administrators must ask themselves as they engage in classroom walkthroughs and instructional conversations is: do we have the right tools to provide the level of technological support teachers need? Hence, the most effective way school administrators can promote technology use is to themselves be knowledgeable and effective users of technology. In this session, the presenter will walk leadership through the critical points of G Suite and address ways to help teachers more effectively transition to the technology-enhanced classroom.
