Communications: How to re-design to build a 21st century graduate

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Critical thinking, creativity, technology, research, collaboration, and “how to learn"-when looking at the Profile of a SC graduate, it is hard not to feel overwhelmed in how to cover it all effectively in the classroom. Our session will demonstrate how we design each quarter with the Profile in mind and keep reading, writing, and speaking skills at the forefront. Students will be prepared to communicate in a variety of methods and develop a better understanding of what is being communicated to them. Above all, students will learn to think critically and inquire about what is going on in the world around them. Teachers will leave with strategies developed by the Upstate Writing Project.
