Remember when you had a cork board in your bedroom or on your dorm room door? It was fun to post pictures of your celebrity crushes, friends, and favorite quotes and was even better when you found a note from a friend. Note Board, a Google extension, is an online cork board with a multitude of uses. This session will focus on how to use Note Board in literacy instruction, specifically in place of reading response journals. Students will love leaving “sticky notes” about their independent reading and sharing their boards with their peers and teacher. Students can personalize their board with different backgrounds, drawings, and pictures. The session will explore other uses, including science projects, creating class book lists, and more!
