In the classroom, teachers are many times teaching content that reaches far beyond the walls of their school. This often makes it difficult to engage students in content that is important for them to comprehend but impossible to experience. Sure, we would all love to take our students on field trips and let them scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef or experience a historical place like Pearl Harbor, but that is just not feasible. However, Google Expeditions, along with Google Cardboard, allows us to take virtual reality field trips to places all over the world and never leave the classroom. Twitter: @billyvoltaire18
