Kimberly Terre is an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Berkeley County School District focusing on the integration of technology within the classroom. She is a Google Certified Educator Level 1, Google Certified Educator Level 2, MasteryConnect Champion, SMART Exemplary Educator, and a SMART Certified Trainer. Ms. Terre currently holds a BA in History from the College of Charleston and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Elearning and Technology from Concordia University. She has worked in education for the last 17 years holding many varied positions. She taught Social Studies at Lincoln High School for six years, teaching grades 9 – 12. During her tenor there she won teacher of the year, was a mentor to new teachers, department chair, and cheerleading coach. Ms. Terre then went to work for Berkeley County School District where she taught 7th grade English and Social Studies for one year before moving into her current position. As an Instructional Technology Specialist, Ms. Terre conducts trainings, workshops, and graduate classes across the school district to help teachers seamlessly integrate the use of technology within any content or grade level classroom.
