My name is Monica Roveri and after spending many years in the library, I am now the instructional technology coach at Oakridge Elementary in Clover, SC.

I am married to Ron, who is the Director of Career & Technology in Rock Hill, SC. We have twins who are seniors at Clover High School.

I am originally from a small suburb of Cleveland, Ohio called Parma Hts. I have always followed the Cleveland baseball and football teams. To this day, I am still an avid Brown's and Indian's fan! However, I was very excited when the Panthers came to Charlotte and watch them, as well. When I am not watching sports, I enjoy reading, walking, social networking,learning, ice skating, swimming, and spending time with my family.

I love to eat so it is hard to narrow down my favorite food.If I had to choose, it would be Italian food.

My favorite colors are earth tones: greens and browns, but also love a splash of red.

My favorite vacation was a short visit to Barbados and would love to return. I also enjoy our regular visits to the beaches of SC each year. However, I am more of a mountain girl, especially in the fall.

I bet you didn’t know that I played ice hockey when I was in elementary school. I was the only girl on the all boys’ team!
