Josh Shepard

School District of Oconee County
Director of Technology
MR203
Josh Shepard has served as the Director of Technology for the School District of Oconee County since April 2012. Previously, Josh served as a teacher, Instructional Technology Coordinator, and in countless community roles outside of the education field.

After taking over as the Director, Josh and his team focused on rebuilding the department from the ground up. This task included major infrastructure overhauls, policy changes, and creating a streamlined approach to supporting the classroom. Utilizing creative funding, reorganization of district products, and a lot of creativity, Josh was able to implement a purposeful vision for integrating technology into the classroom.
